    80 sq,km of Havana 3D city map (Cuba) was the produced for one of the local telecom companies.

    3D MODEL OF YANGON (MYANMAR)

    3D City model of Yangon covers 503 km2. Project was completed for 2 local telecom operators considering their specific RF planning requirements.

    We use recent vintage stereo imagery 0.3 m resolution to create 2 m high-resolution geodata in LOD2 quality. 3D geodata accuracy – 2-3 m in x,y,z.

    Digital Surface Model (DSM), Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and Digital Elevation Model (DHM) were produced basing on 3D terrain features which were derived from overlapping satellite imagery taken from two different locations (stereo imagery).

    Highly accurate building vectors with associated height values as attributes are captured through three-dimensional feature extraction in our photogrammetric software.

    Clutter/Land Use/Land Cover describe the surface and built-up features which influence on radio wave propagation. They are classified into different classes: classes of built-up areas, water classes, classes of landscape and vegetation. Urban Land Use map is produced from multispectral satellite imagery by method of automatic classification with subsequent manual photo-interpretation and modification.

    3D MODEL OF MANDALAY (MYANMAR)

    In urban areas with less propagation distances, dense and high-rise buildings, sometimes complicated relief, the accurate 3D geodata is an essential component of RF design: accurate simulation to support deployment, operation and optimization of mobile networks.

    3D City model of Mandalay covers 215 km2. We use recent vintage stereo imagery 0.3 m resolution to create 2 m high-resolution geodata in LOD2 quality. 3D geodata accuracy – 2-3 m in x,y,z.

    2d country map of Myanmar

    2D Regional model is a medium-to-low-resolution database designed for large-area RF planning. It's the ideal solution in initial network planning and network planning in rural areas.

    2D Regional RF map of Myanmar covers 676578 km2. We have used recent vintage imagery Sentinel of 10 m resolution to create 20 m resolution geodata. SRTM/ASTER DEM data and available topomaps were processed for DTM/DSM production. Clutter/Land Use/Land Cover are classified into different classes: classes of built-up areas, water classes, classes of landscape and vegetation. Land Use map was produced from multispectral satellite imagery by method of automatic classification with subsequent manual photo-interpretation and modification.
    Yangon 2D Regional model allows quickly visualize terrain and clutter over large areas or entire countries. It consists of the following integrated layers: digital terrain model (DTM), clutter, linear vectors, orthoimage.

    Data can be delivered in all major RF planning formats Regional Models may be integrated with 2D Urban ones to improve their accuracy in urban and suburban areas.

    PAPUA NEW GUINEA (PNG) POPULATION MAP PROJECT

    The Population Distribution Model of Papua New Guinea (PNG) covers whole country - 462 840 km2

    As sources for population map production were used:

    • Visicom clutter model (calculated on base of accurate vector layers derived from high and middle resolution satellite imagery and the results of Sentinel/Landsat satellite images classification);
    • Population data figures such as Official Census data for Papua admin divisions, projection figures and population growth coefficients (provided by the National Statistics Office of Papua New Guinea);
    • Boundaries of administrative units with associated population figures (namely, for admin level 4 - Local-Level Government (LLG)/Ward – 297);
    • Visicom population map methodology for model calculation.

    Papua population map produced for use in RF planning demand as raster matrix in the GeoTIFF and .GRD formats. The dataset could be presented as vector map with assigned population quantity and density per city blocks.

    The resulting Papua Population map dataset could be used for such demands as national economic planning, accomplishing public services, cultural construction tasks, backhaul planning, preliminary planning of mobile or telecom networks.

    In addition, the population map could be integrated with Visicom Countrywide Model for Papua New Guinea including datasets for the whole country: 3D maps for biggest cities, Vector model, Clutter Model, DTM, Heights Model.

    3D CITY MODELS OF INDONESIAN CITIES

    Total area of the 3D models of Indonesian cites covers more than 1900 km2.
    This project includes the following cities:
    3D model of Surabaya – 442 sq.km
    3D model of Bandung – 303 sq.km
    3D model of Denpasar – 249 sq.km
    3D model of Medan – 238 sq.km
    3D model of Semarang – 186 sq.km
    3D model of Palembang – 171 sq.km
    3D model of Makassar – 163 sq.km
    3D model of Malang – 79 sq.km
    3D model of Padang – 72 sq.km

    In urban areas with less propagation distances, dense and high-rise buildings, sometimes complicated relief, the accurate 3D geodata is an essential component of RF design: accurate simulation to support deployment, operation and optimization of mobile networks. We use recent vintage stereo imagery 0.3 m resolution to create 2 m high-resolution geodata in LOD2 quality. 3D geodata accuracy – 2-3 m in x,y,z.
    Digital Surface Model (DSM), Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and Digital Elevation Model (DHM) were produced basing on 3D terrain features which were derived from overlapping satellite imagery taken from two different locations (stereo imagery).
    Surabaya DHM Highly accurate building vectors with associated height values as attributes are captured through three-dimensional feature extraction in our photogrammetric software.
    Bandung Vector Clutter/Land Use/Land Cover describe the surface and built-up features which influence on radio wave propagation. They are classified into different classes: classes of built-up areas, water classes, classes of landscape and vegetation. Urban Land Use map is produced from multispectral satellite imagery by method of automatic classification with subsequent manual photo-interpretation and modification.

    2D Country map of Indonesia

    2D Regional model is a medium-to-low-resolution database designed for large-area RF planning. It's the ideal solution in initial network planning and network planning in rural areas.

    2D Regional RF map of Indonesia covers 1 920 000 km2. We have used recent vintage imagery Sentinel of 10 m resolution to create 20 m resolution geodata. SRTM/ASTER DEM data and available topomaps were processed for DTM/DSM production. Clutter/Land Use/Land Cover are classified into different classes: classes of built-up areas, water classes, classes of landscape and vegetation. Land Use map was produced from multispectral satellite imagery by method of automatic classification with subsequent manual photo-interpretation and modification.

    Intergeo 2017

    INTERGEO 2017 REPORT

    It is the third time that Visicom took part in INTERGEO, the world’s largest event for geodesy, geoinformation and land management that comprises a conference and a trade fair.

    This year’s event in Berlin has attracted more than 18,000 visitors from over 100 countries.

    Visicom was one of 580 exhibitors from 37 countries focused on geo-IT target markets.

    The event was successful and very useful for us.
    We met partners and customers from all over the world and had a chance to experience impressive spirit of innovation, watch wide-ranging presentations and have interactive discussions about different aspects of 3D-modelling.

    Digitalization and innovations in terms of BIM (Building Information Model), virtual reality, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and smart cities will be high on the agenda next year at INTERGEO and we will be happy to represent Ukraine at the world's most important communications and networking forum for geo-IT.
