VISICOM has been a regular visitor and active participant at INTERGEO for many years. This year in Stuttgart, the exhibition brought together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the globe: 579 exhibitors, more than 17,000 visitors from 121 countries. We were thrilled to witness firsthand the latest trends and technologies that are shaping the future of geospatial solutions: AI & Geoinformation • Earth Observation & Environmental Monitoring • Smart City (or X-City 2.0) • Digital Twins • Digitalization Strategies in Geoinformation Management • Laser Scanning.
Among the highlights were the advancements in 3D geodata applications, drone mapping, and AI-driven spatial analysis tools. We also had valuable discussions with partners and colleagues about the increasing role of geospatial data in urban planning, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure development.
An important part of this year's event was the REBUILD UKRAINE initiative, presented by Schneider Group. This initiative, which was discussed during a special meeting at INTERGEO, emphasizes the role of international collaboration and geospatial data in the reconstruction and development of Ukraine. Over the next decade, international companies can be directly involved in a long-term rebuilding of the Ukrainian economy. The initiative REBUILD UKRAINE highlights the importance of geospatial technologies in rebuilding infrastructure, ensuring efficient resource management, and supporting sustainable growth in the region.
